Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 large Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger minced
  • 2 tablespoon Curry Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 400 ml Coconut Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Cilantro chopped, for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and cook until golden brown.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in curry powder and turmeric, cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
  6. Pour in coconut milk, bring to a simmer.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, cook for 5-7 minutes.
  8. Stir in lemon juice and garnish with cilantro before serving.
