Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Lobster tails cleaned and cut in half
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 4 cups Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip the lobster tails in buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture.
  4. Carefully place the lobster tails in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
