Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Pour the sauce mixture over the shrimp and bring to a simmer.
Add the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
Serve hot with rice or noodles.
