- 4 fillets Catfish
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying
1. Mix cornmeal, flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a shallow dish.
2. Pour buttermilk into another shallow dish.
3. Dip catfish fillets in buttermilk, then dredge in cornmeal mixture.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
5. Fry catfish fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
