Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 whole crabs cleaned and cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger minced
  • 2 stalks green onions chopped
  • 1 egg egg beaten

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a wok over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry until fragrant.
  2. Add chili paste, stir well. Add tomato sauce, chicken broth, soy sauce, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add crabs, cover, and cook for 10-15 minutes until crabs are cooked through.
  4. Stir in cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce. Add beaten egg, stir quickly to create egg ribbons.
  5. Garnish with green onions. Serve hot.
