- 1 lb Shrimp peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 cup Beer
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper freshly ground
1. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
2. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
4. Pour beer into the skillet, add paprika and red pepper flakes. Stir well and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
5. Return shrimp to the skillet, add lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
6. Serve hot with rice or crusty bread.
