Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 can Crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ¼ cup Fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 lb Pasta, cooked according to package instructions

Instructions 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Return the shrimp to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Stir in the fresh basil and serve over cooked pasta.
