Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups Corn kernels fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. 3. Stir in the corn kernels and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. 4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. 5. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. 6. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  7. 7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
