Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Main Ingredients
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add the cooked pasta and toss to combine.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
