Scallops in Pastry with Lobster Sauce
Delicious scallops wrapped in pastry and served with a rich lobster sauce.

Main Ingredients
- 8 pieces Scallops
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- 1 egg Egg (beaten)
Lobster Sauce
- 1 cup Lobster Stock
- ½ cup Heavy Cream
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1 tablespoon Flour
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Wrap each scallop in a piece of puff pastry. Brush with beaten egg.
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour to make a roux.
Gradually add lobster stock, stirring constantly until thickened.
Add heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Serve scallops with lobster sauce drizzled over.
