Scalloped Cabbage with Ham and Cheese

- 1 head cabbage chopped
- 1 cup ham diced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 1.5 cups milk
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add chopped cabbage and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
In a baking dish, layer half of the cabbage, ham, and cheese. Pour half of the sauce over the layers. Repeat with remaining cabbage, ham, cheese, and sauce.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
