Sausage Shrimp Jambalaya

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb sausage, sliced
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1.5 cups long-grain rice
- 2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a large pot, cook sausage over medium heat until browned.
Add onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Stir in rice, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
