Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, 2 tablespoon mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, chopped basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Form the mixture into 4 patties.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
In a small bowl, mix together ½ cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and chopped basil to make the lemon basil mayo.
Serve the salmon burgers on buns with a dollop of lemon basil mayo on top.
