- 4 cups Red potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons Butter
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a baking dish with butter.
Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
Pour half of the heavy cream over the potatoes and sprinkle with half of the cheese, salt, and pepper.
Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream, cheese, salt, and pepper.
Dot the top with butter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
