Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Prawns cleaned and deveined
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Mustard Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger grated
  • 2 pcs Green Chilies slit
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Marinate the prawns with turmeric powder and salt. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat mustard oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  3. 3. Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until golden brown.
  4. 4. Add marinated prawns and cook until they turn pink.
  5. 5. Add coconut milk, red chili powder, garam masala, and green chilies. Stir well.
  6. 6. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the prawns are cooked through and the curry thickens.
  7. 7. Serve hot with steamed rice.
