Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter melted
- 2 cups Celery chopped
- 1 cup Onion chopped
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1 pint Oysters drained and chopped
- 8 cups Bread cubes toasted
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add celery and onion, and cook until softened.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the celery mixture, chicken broth, oysters, bread cubes, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
