  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 4 cup cornbread crumbled
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup oysters drained and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the celery and onion, and cook until soft.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crumbled cornbread, cooked celery and onion, chicken broth, oysters, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
