Microwave Scalloped Potatoes

- 4 medium potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
1. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes.
2. In a microwave-safe dish, layer the potatoes.
3. In a separate bowl, melt the butter in the microwave.
4. Stir in the flour to make a roux.
5. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly.
6. Microwave the mixture until it thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
7. Pour the sauce over the potatoes.
8. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
9. Microwave on high for 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
10. Let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
