Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fresh fish (tilapia, sea bass, or shrimp) cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup Fresh lime juice
  • 2 Roma tomatoes diced
  • 1 Red onion finely chopped
  • 1 Jalapeño seeded and finely chopped
  • ½ cup Cilantro chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Avocado diced, for garnish
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the fish and lime juice. Make sure the fish is fully submerged in the lime juice. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the fish is opaque and firm.
  2. 2. Drain the fish, discarding the lime juice. Add the tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and salt to the bowl with the fish. Mix well.
  3. 3. Serve the ceviche chilled, garnished with diced avocado and accompanied by tortilla chips.
