Main Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups cooked white rice
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add onion, bell pepper, and celery. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for another minute.
Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 10 minutes.
Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for another 10 minutes.
Add shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
Serve over cooked white rice.
