- 1 cup lobster meat, cooked and chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon black pepper to taste
1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the flour and whisk continuously for about 2 minutes to form a roux.
3. Gradually add the milk and heavy cream, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
4. Cook the mixture until it thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Add the chopped lobster meat, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
6. Simmer for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
7. Serve the lobster sauce over mashed potatoes and enjoy!
