Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 10 lemons organic, unwaxed
  • 1 liter vodka high proof
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 cups water

Instructions 

  1. Peel the lemons, avoiding the white pith.
  2. Place the lemon peels in a large jar and pour the vodka over them. Seal the jar and let it sit for 2 weeks.
  3. After 2 weeks, make a simple syrup by heating the water and sugar until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool.
  4. Strain the lemon peels from the vodka and mix the infused vodka with the simple syrup.
  5. Bottle the limoncello and let it sit for another 2 weeks before serving chilled.
