- 1 cup Butter melted
- 2 cups Celery chopped
- 1 cup Onion chopped
- 1 pint Oysters drained and chopped
- 8 cups Bread cubes day-old
- 2 teaspoon Poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 cups Chicken broth
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the celery and onion, and cook until tender.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes, cooked celery and onion, oysters, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring gently to moisten the bread cubes.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
