Ingredients

  • 4 cups Russet potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Gluten-free flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the gluten-free flour, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture has thickened and is bubbly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in 1 ½ cups of the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  5. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish. Pour half of the cheese sauce over the potatoes. Repeat with the remaining potatoes and cheese sauce.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
