Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger root sliced
  • 1 inch Fresh turmeric root sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Honey optional
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  2. 2. Add sliced ginger and turmeric to the boiling water.
  3. 3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Strain the tea into a teapot or mug.
  5. 5. Add honey and lemon juice if desired. Stir well.
  6. 6. Serve hot and enjoy.
