Garlic Shrimp Linguine

Main Ingredients
- 12 oz linguine
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 lemon juice
Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to combine. Add the lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. Toss again to combine.
Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
