  • 4 large Russet Potatoes
  • 1 quart Vegetable Oil for frying
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. Peel and cut potatoes into thin strips.
  2. Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
  5. Drain on paper towels and season with salt immediately.
