- 4 large Russet Potatoes
- 1 quart Vegetable Oil for frying
- to taste Salt
Peel and cut potatoes into thin strips.
Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Fry potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
Drain on paper towels and season with salt immediately.
