- 1 can Chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 1 cup Crab Meat fresh or canned
- ½ cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg beaten
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- ¼ cup Chopped Parsley fresh
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil for frying
1. In a mixing bowl, mash the chickpeas until smooth.
2. Add the crab meat, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and chopped parsley. Mix well.
3. Form the mixture into small patties.
4. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
5. Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
