Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crab meat cooked and shredded
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese shredded
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg grated
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a small bowl, toss the shredded cheeses with cornstarch to coat.
  2. 2. In a fondue pot, heat the wine and lemon juice over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  3. 3. Gradually add the cheese mixture to the pot, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
  4. 4. Stir in the garlic, nutmeg, and crab meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. 5. Keep the fondue warm over low heat and serve with bread cubes, vegetables, or crackers.
