Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fresh crab meat
  • 1 bunch Asparagus trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  2. 2. Add the asparagus pieces and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender.
  4. 4. Stir in the heavy cream and crab meat. Cook for another 5 minutes, or until heated through.
  5. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
