Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 200 g Crab meat fresh or canned
  • 3 Eggs separated
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a souffle dish with butter.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in the crab meat, egg yolks, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the crab mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared souffle dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the souffle is puffed and golden.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
