Ingredients

  • 4 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until bubbly.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, continuing to stir until the mixture thickens. Add salt and pepper.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked broccoli and cheese sauce. Pour into a baking dish and top with the remaining 0.5 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
