Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Elbow Macaroni
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- ¼ cup Butter
- ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 cups Milk
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for about 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in milk, and cook until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
Remove from heat and stir in 1 ½ cups of cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni and mix well.
Pour into a baking dish and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
