Ingredients

  • 2 cups Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, and cook until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in 1 ½ cups of cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni and mix well.
  7. Pour into a baking dish and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
