Ingredients

  • 2 cups Navy Beans soaked overnight
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, molasses, mustard powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Drain and rinse the soaked navy beans. Add them to the baking dish.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the beans and add water. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.
