  • 8 slices Bacon chopped
  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup Oysters chopped
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Celery chopped
  • 4 cups Bread Cubes stale or toasted
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 tablespoon Butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sage dried
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme dried

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the onions, celery, and mushrooms until tender.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, cooked bacon, sautéed vegetables, and chopped oysters.
  5. Add the chicken broth, melted butter, salt, pepper, sage, and thyme. Mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
